Manufacturing investment castings in high volumes can take its toll on machinery, plant and equipment. Due to this, we need to carry out regular preventative maintenance and cleaning. We set aside a number of weeks in each year to service our machines in order to keep them in good condition so they are able to produce quality products.

The week commencing Monday 29th May sees our first maintenance shutdown of the year. During this week, our offices will be closed and our team will be focused on ensuring that our foundry is in tip top condition and full working order.

Usually, production is slowed during our shut down periods, however, due to the power outage that we suffered earlier in the month, we will be increasing the number of operatives that will be working during our Spring shutdown. This will help us to ensure that product continues to flow.

Although our offices will be closed, you will still be able to contact our Sales team with new enquiries.

Our Sales Manager, John Farrell, will be contactable on Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st of May. Whilst our Sales Director, David Farncombe, will be available on Tuesday 30th of May, Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd of June.

David can be contacted on 07767 375 429.

John can be contacted on 0161 925 5172.

Alternatively, you can email our sales team on sales@pi-castings.co.uk.

Our offices will reopen fully on Monday 5th June.
